Hotel Prezydent**** is located in the very heart of Poland. It serves as an excellent base for visitors from all over the country. You can reach us from Warsaw and Łódź in less than 1.5 hours, from Katowice in about 2 hours. It takes a bit longer—around 3 hours—for residents of Wrocław, Poznań, and Lublin to get here

 

TRAVEL INFORMACION:

 

1. From Slovakia to Spała

Example route: Bratislava → Spała

Bratislava – Trnava – Trenčín – Žilina – Čadca – Zwardoń (border PL/SK) – Bielsko-Biała – Katowice – Częstochowa – Piotrków Trybunalski – Spała

 Main roads:

  • SK: D1 → D3
  • PL: S1 → A1 → exit Piotrków Trybunalski Południe → DK48 (Spała)

 Driving time: approx. 6.5–7 hours
 Distance: approx. 520–550 km

 Alternative:
If coming from Eastern Slovakia (Košice, Poprad), take the Chyżne – Nowy Targ – Kraków – A1 – Spała route.
This one is very scenic (passing the Tatra Mountains) and has good road conditions.

 

2. From Hungary to Spała

Budapest – Šahy – Zvolen – Banská Bystrica – Ružomberok – Dolný Kubín – Chyżne (PL) – Nowy Targ – Kraków – A1 (Piotrków Trybunalski) – Spała

 Main roads: E77 / S7 / A1
 Driving time: approx. 8.5–9 hours
 Distance: approx. 680 km

 

3. From Austria to Spała

Vienna – Brno – Ostrava – Gorzyczki (border PL/CZ) – Gliwice – Częstochowa – Piotrków Trybunalski – Spała

 Main roads: A5 / D1 / A1
 Driving time: approx. 7–8 hours
 Distance: approx. 620 km

 Alternative:
You can also go via Bratislava and Katowice (A4), but the A1 route is usually faster and less congested.

 

 4. From Czech Republic to Spała

Prague – Hradec Králové – Náchod – Kudowa-Zdrój (border PL/CZ) – Wrocław – Łódź – Tomaszów Mazowiecki – Spała

 Main roads: D11 / E67 / S8 / A1 / DK48
 Driving time: approx. 6–6.5 hours
 Distance: approx. 520 km

 Alternative:
Via Ostrava – A1, slightly longer but fully highway-standard.

 

Common Orientation Points

No matter which country you start from, the easiest final section is:

Łódź – Piotrków Trybunalski – Tomaszów Mazowiecki – Spała (DK48)

There are clear road signs to Spała, the Central Sports Centre (COS Spała), and local parking areas.
